DAY 7: Saturday, May 3. nORTH sHORE fallen heroes day
Bayville / OYSTER BAY / GLEN COVE
Start: West Harbor Beach Memorial Park, 10 West Harbor Beach Drive, Bayville – 9:00 am
Pick up runners: 5K run – the downtown cafe – 4 School Street, Glen Cove – 4:00 pm
Finish: Village Square / the downtown cafe
Runners: Suggested $30 donation fee allows you to participate in 1 or more days' events. You will also receive a commemorative T-shirt and challenge coin while supplies last.
Saturday is in honor of the North Shore Fallen Heroes.
Part 1 - Start in Bayville and travel through much of the North Shore in Nassau County with stops at several Veteran Memorials. It will end in downtown Glen Cove.
Part 2 - Participation runner distance will be a 5K. This course will take us to Veteran’s Memorial at the Glen Clove Library, Morgan Memorial Park and finishing back in Downtown Glen Cove.
